AJ has lived in Port Saint Joe, FL, his entire life and has been raised in the boating industry! He intends to obtain his outboard marine certification with Yamaha and BRP. 2021 Recipient- Morgan LakeyThe Swivel Sisters Women's Fishing Club is proud to present our 2021 scholarship winner, Morgan Lakey!!
Morgan loves being on the water and giving back and often combines the two to contribute to her community! She is an accomplished student, dancer, musician, & volunteer with a “pleasant demeanor and ‘can do’ attitude." Morgan’s teachers praised her for having “the ethics, determination, intelligence and personality that will allow her to succeed in any field she chooses” and that is why we PROUDLY presented this scholarship to Morgan Lakey at the Bayou Bash tournament this year! |

2020 Recipient- Andre HornsbyOur first scholarship was given out to Port St Joe High School student, Andre Hornsby, c/o 2020! Andre was an easy choice for this scholarship because he is a hard worker, loves to play baseball, fish, and be on the water. He has already completed his Captains License since graduating and plans to attend Haney Technical Center and study Marine Service Technologies this fall. Congrats Andre, and thank you for applying for our scholarship!
